Dr. Dinko Dinkov

Dr. Dinko Dinkov has a lot of experience in the field of International Affairs and Foreign Policy-Making Process acquired through his activities as academician and practitioner. Currently, he is President of the Bulgarian European Communities Studies Association. Dr. Dinkov is also a member of the Council of Accreditation of the National Agency for Assessment and Accreditation and a co-founder and a member of the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria. From 1991 to 1998 he is Foreign Policy advisor to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria. He is representative of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Senior government advisors group of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (1993-1997).
Presently, Dr. Dinkov is Director of the International Relations Department at the University of National and World Economy - Sofia. He is specialist in the fields of the History of the International Relations, Bulgarian Foreign Policy, European Integration and the problems of Southeast Europe, Trans-Atlantic Cooperation. Dinko Dinkov have participated in specializations in Great Britain, the USA and Germany. He is author of the books "European Integration" (1999), "The cooperation in Southeast Europe: ideas and opportunities" (2001), "The regional cooperation in Southeast Europe" (2002). he is co-author of "European political cooperation" (1999), Almanach "Bulgaria in the XXI century" (1999), "European political cooperation and integration" (2000), Bulgaria in the European Integration (2002) and others. He is author of numerous articles and reports presented to international conferences and specialized magazines.
