Prof. Howard Ball
Professor of Law and Politics at the University of Vermont
Howard Ball is presently the 2006-2007 Fulbright John Marshall Distinguished Professor of Law and Politics at the University of Szeged, Hungary. He is University Scholar and Professr Emeritus at the University of Vermont. He is also Professor of Law at Vermont Law School. Ball's research focus is on the U.S. Supreme Court, judicial politics and process, international law, and War Crimes and Genocide.
He has authored almost three dozen scholarly books on these issues and more than three dozen articles on this issues in a variety of Political Science, Public Administration, and Law Journals. He received his advanced degrees from Rutgers University (MA, Ph.D.) and has taught at Hofstra University, Mississippi State University, the University of Utah, Dartmouth College, and the University of Vermont.
